Whatever is wrong with Carson Wentz may be hurting the Philadelphia Eagles, but it’s at least given the team’s tight ends a nice little boost when it comes to fantasy football production. Richard Rodgers and Dallas Goedert combined for 128 yards and two touchdowns last week against Seattle. Though the depth chart is a little different this week with the return of Zach Ertz, there’s still some fantasy value here for the Eagles’ Week 13 matchup against the Packers.
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles TEs Dallas Goedert, Richard Rodgers
Goedert was targeted 10 times last week, and he caught seven passes for 75 yards and a touchdowns. He’s now been targeted at least six times in his last three games, and that was his second week in a row with more than 70 yards and a score. He’s clearly the team’s best tight end, though how much Ertz eats into his target share remains to be seen. For now, I’d feel good leaving him as a TE1.
Rodgers has also scored in each of his last two games, and he’s topped 40 yards in his last three. However, he slides down the depth chart with Ertz back, taking away his fantasy value.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Dallas Goedert. Sit Richard Rodgers.
