What to do with Russell Wilson in Week 13 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Russell Wilson ahead of the Seahawks Week 13 matchup against the Giants.

NFC West Outlook: Can the Seahawks Win the Division?

Russell Wilson remains one of the highest-priced quarterbacks on the slate, but is he really worth it? Let’s discuss.

Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks QB Russell Wilson

Russ hasn’t exactly been cooking with gas lately. His fantasy outputs in his previous three games are 12.9, 20.1 and, most recently, 14.4. He hasn’t made any mistakes in the last two weeks; the Seahawks just haven’t asked him to do much. The days of him chucking up 40-50 balls have disappeared. Wilson threw 28 times against the Cardinals and 31 times against the Eagles, which was enough for Seattle to claim victory in each game. He still has plenty of upside because of his big-play receivers and his rushing ability, but this week’s opponent, the New York Giants, have been pretty good against quarterbacks over the past few weeks. Granted, they haven’t faced a Murderer’s Row of QBs in their last three games — Alex Smith, Carson Wentz and Brandon Allen — but they have allowed just two passing touchdowns during that span. For the season, the Giants have allowed the sixth-fewest DraftKings points per game to QBs.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Only Patrick Mahomes has a higher price among QBs this week. Wilson ($7,700) could go off at any time, but his recent performances, the matchup and his price don’t leave room for a lot of value here. Look elsewhere on DraftKings.
