What to do with Darren Waller in Week 13 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Darren Waller ahead of the Raiders Week 13 matchup against the Jets.

One of the NFL’s best tight ends could find himself back up top the tight end fantasy football rankings after this week when the Raiders play the Jets on Sunday.

Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders TE Darren Waller

The Las Vegas Raiders’ passing offense was non-existent against a below average Atlanta Falcons defense last week. Thanks to consistent pressure from Atlanta’s defensive line, quarterback Derek Carr did not have the time to get the ball to his weapons such as Nelson Agholor, Henry Ruggs, and Darren Waller.

Waller had one of his worst games against Atlanta, recording four receptions (seven targets) for 23 yards and zero touchdowns. It was only the fourth time this year that the veteran tight end was held to 30 yards or less. However, it’s hard to see that happening again on Sunday against the Jets’ linebackers.

Last week against the Miami Dolphins, New York allowed the Dolphins’ tight ends to record two touchdowns, six receptions, and 61 yards for 18 fantasy points. Overall, the Jets’ defense is allowing opposing tight ends to score 9.9 points per game this season. This is a no-brainer if you have Waller starting on your fantasy team.
