What to do with Taysom Hill in Week 13 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Taysom Hill ahead of the Saints Week 13 matchup against the Falcons.

The Saints have now spent two weeks with Taysom Hill behind center, and from a QB fantasy perspective, there hasn’t been a significant rise or fall from the veteran Drew Brees. The Swiss army knife quarterback is averaging 21.87 DKFP, but are these numbers that we can actually trust heading into a Week 13 divisional showdown with the Falcons?

Fantasy Football analysis: Saints QB Taysom Hill

If it weren’t for Taysom’s willingness to hog the ball and take carries away from Alvin Kamara, his fantasy outputs would look drastically different. In Weeks 11 and 12, Hill ran it in for two scores in each outing. Since he’s barely surpassed 300 total passing yards over that stretch, those four rushing touchdowns have really salvaged his fantasy relevance. Don’t be fooled by the fact that Taysom put up 25.22 DKFP in Week 11 against Atlanta. That game was a slow-moving, run-heavy, 24-9 victory for New Orleans. It’s more likely that he does not continue to rack up two rushing TDs each week, and instead registers a dud of a performance in a similarly boring matchup against the Falcons.
