Brandon Allen made his first start of the season in Week 12 against the New York Giants, and it went about as well as most people expected it to go. He completed 17 of 29 passes for 136 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and one fumble to finish with 6.14 fantasy points. Things should get slightly easier for Allen in Week 13 when he takes on the Miami Dolphins, but would he be worth starting against any opponent? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bengals QB Brandon Allen

Brandon Allen doesn’t have much of a sample size to go off of this season. Even so, it’s pretty safe to say that he is not an ideal starter for your fantasy football team. The Dolphins have allowed only 13 passing touchdowns this season while recording 11 interceptions. They also only allow a 62.3% completion percentage. A backup quarterback in his second start against a team that has defended the pass so well is not very enticing. Brandon Allen belongs on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues this weekend.
