Kyle Murray has been the most consistent fantasy quarterback in the league this season, but a shoulder injury suffered in Week 11 slowed him down in a big way against the Patriots in Week 12. Murray hadn’t dipped below 20 fantasy points in any game this season until his 7.9 points finish in New England. He did rush five times for 31 yards, but when he’s really feeling good, he’s running 10-plus times, especially in close games.

Murray was limited to start practice in Week 13 and we shouldn’t consider him 100% healthy until we see him prove it on the field. Unfortunately the Cardinals face a good Rams defense this week and we’ll go into the matchup not knowing just how healthy Murray is.
The Rams have been one of the best defenses against quarterbacks this season, as they’ve allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to the position. They just held Tom Brady to 12.6 fantasy points and Russell Wilson to 9.9. There are a couple outliers with big games for Jimmy Garoppolo and Josh Allen, but that’s it.
But can you really sit Murray? No. Not unless you have another stud quarterback. The hope is that Bill Belichick did some of his magic against young quarterbacks plus Murray didn’t want to run to save his shoulder and that this week he’ll be a little healthier to open up his running ability. The Rams have allowed good rushing games to Dak Prescott, Daniel Jones and Russell Wilson, and I expect Murray will take off more if the offense isn’t moving with consistency.
