The 2020 NFL regular season is coming down the final stretch and the playoff picture is likely to start formalizing in Week 13. The Jets and Jaguars were the first two teams eliminated from playoff contention and two more teams could join them this weekend. On the other side of the coin, nobody has clinched a playoff berth, but as many as three teams could punch their ticket this weekend.
Prior to the season, DraftKings Sportsbook offered odds on whether or not each team would earn a playoff berth. You can still bet on 17 teams in the playoff picture, but before the season you could bet “yes” or “no” on any of the 32 teams. Below we’ve posted the full odds for each team prior to Week 1 kickoff, along with how the betting public was approaching each team’s chances.
The Steelers and Chiefs can clinch a playoff berth and their respective division titles this weekend, while the Saints can clinch a playoff berth. The betting public was all over the Steelers making it and solidly behind the Chiefs making a return trip. However, 85 percent of the handle on the Saints was them not making the playoffs. They’re all but assured of a spot this year even with Drew Brees sidelined.
