We go over the fantasy football outlook of Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk ahead of the 49ers Week 13 matchup against the Bills on Monday Night Football.

Game day update: After a tremendous outing last week against the Rams, Niners wide receiver Deebo Samuel became an early waiver targets for many fantasy football managers. Samuel scored a season-high 13.3 fantasy points, which is good for a WR2 spot. He’ll be looking to reach the double digits on Sunday when San Fran takes on the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills’ defense is allowing 20.8 fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers this season. Buffalo will likely match up Tre’Davious White on Samuel, which could open up things for rookie wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. ESPN projects Samuel, Aiyuk to score 9.0 and 7.6 fantasy points, respectively.

Deebo Samuel returned to action for the 49ers last week for the first time since Week 7, and was obviously hungry to get back into the game. He caught 11 passes on 13 targets to collect 134 yards to help his team complete a sweep of the Rams this season. This week, the Niners will have Brandon Aiyuk back in the fold too, after a stint on the COVID/reserve list. Both players will have some fantasy appeal against the Bills this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers WRs Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk

Aiyuk hasn’t played since Week 10, but in his last three games, he had 281 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He’ll be a welcome addition for quarterback Nick Mullens who has had limited options to throw to downfield.

The Bills have allowed four receivers to go for at least 60 yards in their last three games, two for more than 100. They’ve also given up four receiving touchdowns to the position in their last three. Both Aiyuk and Samuel are worth a spot in fantasy lineups this week. Samuel gets a slight edge because they like to use him in the running game as well, but I wouldn’t be worried about using either player as a WR2 this week.
