In a featherweight bout on the main card of UFC Fight Night, Nate Landwehr will fight Movsar Evloev Saturday in Las Vegas and available on ESPN+.
The 32-year-old Landwehr enters with a professional fighting record of 14-3. This is third fight in 2020 and in the UFC. Landwehr’s last fight took place at UFC on ESPN 8 in May, where he defeated Darren Elkins in Round 1 by unanimous decision.
In his debut earlier this year at UFC Fight Night 166. he lost to Hebert Burns in Round 1 at 2:43 by knockout using a knee. Before making the jump to UFC, “The Train” Landwehr competed at M-1 Challenge, A&A Fight Time Promotions, Gladiators of the Cage, 3FC Fighting Championship, and Xtreme Fighting Championships.
Landwher is a tremendous striker as he lands 6.89 strikes per 15 minutes, with 50 percent accuracy. He absorbs a significant amount of strikes per minute at 7.22, while defending them at 52 percent.
Evloev comes the UFC APEX with a perfect professional fighting record of 13-0. The 26-year-old from Russia last fought in July at UFC on ESPN 14, defeating Mike Grundy by unanimous decision. This will be his second UFC fight in 2020, but third overall in the promotion.
Before joining the UFC, Evloev fought five years at M-1 Challenge, where he won three fights by KO and four by submission. The 5-foot-8 fighter lands 4.44 significant strikes per 15 minutes, but only with 43 percent accuracy. He also absorbs 2.76 strikes per minute and defends them at 56 percent. Unlike his opponent, Evloev can wrestle as well. He has a 3.00 takedown average with an accuracy of 33 percent.
