The Los Angeles Clippers are one of those teams who has fallen victim to the embarrassing blowout. These types of games are becoming a common occurrence this season. You could say it’s mostly because the Clips don’t have Kawhi Leonard, who still has stitches in his mouth. The All-Star may be held out of Wednesday’s game after missing Tuesday’s win over the T-Wolves, 124-101. So the Clippers will have to take on the Portland Trail Blazers on the second night of a back-to-back at home.

This is another pick where we need to assume one side or the other and capitalize on it. Leonard is probably closer to doubtful than questionable for tonight. If that’s the case, the Blazers have an advantage with a plenty of rest coming off a game at Staples Center on Monday. The Blazers beat the Lakers with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. After dropping 9 points in the opener, Damian Lillard has back-to-back games with at least 31 points. Portland’s gaining some momentum and the Clippers will have a tougher time without Leonard. If Kawhi ends up playing and isn’t on a minutes limit wearing a full face mask, maybe we rethink the line. Until then, the Blazers are the lean.
