The Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat finish off a home-and-home series (feels weird saying that for something that isn’t the NHL). This time we head to South Beach with the Heat coming off one of their worst losses in franchise history. The Bucks hung a 47-point win on the Heat on Tuesday, breaking the NBA record for most 3-pointers in a game with 29. We haven’t anything on Jimmy Butler returning from his ankle injury. So we’ll run things back and hope the Heat have a better showing.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat, 7:30 p.m. ET NBATV
ATS Pick: Bucks -5
Assuming Butler sits again, the Bucks only being a 5-point favorite after what happened last night seems insane. Does Butler make up for 47 points allowed? Maybe about half of that but that’s still a 20-point win. Milwaukee needs to step up and Tuesday’s game could be the start of one of those runs we saw last season, you know the ones where the Bucks steamroll every team for about three weeks. So even if this game gets a bit of a competitive bump, I still see the Bucks covering unless players rest. Keep an eye on the news.
Player Prop: Khris Middleton O2.5 3-pointers (+118)
Let’s run this prop back! I’ve never done anything like this before. On Tuesday night, we had the same line at O2.5 for +104 in the same matchup. Middleton and the Bucks destroyed the Heat and Middleton hit this over easy. Jimmy Butler is out again for the Heat, so we can go right back to the Bucks and Middleton. He’s been too hot for the Bucks, who appear to be turning a corner.
