Detroit Pistons PF Blake Griffin is in concussion protocol after being smacked in the face by Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman. Griffin will not return to Tuesday’s game and Saddiq Bey started the second half in his place. Griffin returned to the lineup after resting on Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks.

Griffin will finish Tuesday’s game with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 17 minutes. Bey already has 11 points off the bench and should get a ton of run in the second half. This is also a boost for Jerami Grant and Mason Plumlee, potentially long-term if Griffin is sidelined.
