We break down the public betting splits and how the lines have moved for Oklahoma State vs. Miami in the Cheez-It Bowl.

Two teams that had roller coaster seasons face off in a questionable neighborhood in Downtown Orlando as the Oklahoma State Cowboys take on the No. 18 Miami Hurricanes.

So where are sports bettors going as we get closer to game time? Let’s take a look. All odds and info were provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Point Spread

Right now Miami is a 1-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, but with 63% of the handle and 58% of the cash on the Cowboys as of 1 p.m. today.

Is the public right? That depends on who’s playing tonight. If the only missing players for Miami are opt-out defensive ends Jaelan Phillips and Quincy Roche, the Canes could be in line for a bounce-back after their disastrous performance against North Carolina in the season finale. D’Eriq King and Brevin Jordan are going to play, so there will be plenty of talent on offense.

The total is set at 61.5, with 77% of the handle and 75% of the bets on the over

Is the public right? This Miami D can be pretty inconsistent, and this might be the best defense Mike Gundy has had in Stillwater since arriving. This game certainly would lean under during the regular season, but playbooks tend to get opened in bowl games and tackling in exhibition games hurts. We’ll stay away, but we’d slightly lean under here.

Oklahoma State is listed at -109, with Miami at -112. 57% of the handle and 67% of the bets have the ‘Canes winning outright.

Is the public right? It’s been a long season for OSU, and UM is at home in front of some friends and family that will be able to drive to the game. We’ll take Manny Diaz’s team in a slight upset, and the money line is fine with us.

Cheez-It Bowl: Oklahoma State vs. Miami

Opening line: Oklahoma State -3, Total 60.5
Current line: Miami -1, total 61.5

The cash is on the Canes, and so are we. These 2020 bowl game late line moves have been pretty accurate so far, and we’ll trail the cash and go with UM even if it gets to -2.5.
