Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders is only 190 rushing yards away from 1,000, which was unthinkable a few weeks ago. However, with Jalen Hurts now starting, defenses can’t just pay attention to Sanders in the backfield. Can Sanders put together another solid performance and cross the 100-yard mark on Sunday? Let’s discuss it below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles RB Miles Sanders
After rushing for 115 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns in Week 14 against the New Orleans Saints, Sanders came back down to earth last week versus Arizona. The young running back recorded 64 yards on 17 carries, along with a reception for 26 yards in the team’s 33-27 loss.
For his efforts, Sanders scored nine fantasy points, which we’ve seen more often than not this season. Unlike last season, the 23-year-old’s running back’s value is solely dependent on if he scores a touchdown. On Sunday, Sanders could be in store for a breakout game against the worst run defense in the NFL. The Cowboys’ defense is giving up 161.8 rushing yards and 21.3 fantasy points per game to opposing running backs.
