Despite his team blowing it against the hapless New York Jets, the league’s most underwhelming starting quarterback had a decent enough outing, at least for fantasy. Jared Goff threw a pair of touchdown passes and added 209 yards through the air. That was the first time since Week 11 that’s he’s thrown multiple scores in a game. This week he gets an improved Seahawks defense in a game that will decide the NFC West winner.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams QB Jared Goff
Goff also has six interceptions in his last five games, so the turnovers haven’t gone away. The last time the Rams and Seahawks squared off, in Week 10, Goff threw for 302 yards, but did not have a touchdown. He lost a fumble in that one too.
Seattle has given up two touchdowns in their last three games, while picking off opposing passers three times in that span. Goff’s got a pretty low ceiling in most weeks, so he’s not a great option in this one, especially with fantasy football championships on the line.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Jared Goff.
