As if the Jacksonville Jaguars wide receivers needed anything else to drag down their fantasy football value, the team announced this week that it will turn to Mike Glennon as its starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Bears. While that might be good news for their chances of hanging onto the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, it means their receivers aren’t going to contribute much fantasy production this week.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars WRs DJ Chark, Laviska Shenault
Chark started the season as a solid fantasy starter at wide receiver, but his overall value has been hurt by this offense. Last week, he had four catches on five targets for 53 yards. He hasn’t had more than 60 yards or found the end zone since Week 9. Shenault had 43 yards on five catches last week, adding another single yard on the ground on two rushing attempts.
Those totals represent the ceiling for both players right now in the Jags offense.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Chark could have some value as a Flex play this week, but it’s risky. Sit Shenault.
