The Denver Broncos’ wide receivers accomplished little against the Bills last week. Do better results lie ahead this Sunday?
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos WRs Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, KJ Hamler
How bad was Week 15 for these WRs? Patrick caught three passes for 14 scoreless yards, and that was good enough to lead this group in fantasy points. The Drew Lock roller coaster has made everyone in this trio impossible to trust. Patrick scored three times across Weeks 14 and 15, but he has also fallen short of 50 yards in every game since Week 11.
Jeudy was fantastic way back in Week 7, posting a 7-125-1 line on 14 targets. But he has caught just 11 passes and hasn’t scored in six games since. He recorded fewer than 50 yards in all but one of those games.
The speedy rookie Hamler has given us a clear view of his ceiling and his floor over the past two games. He turned his two catches into long touchdowns in Week 14. Then he caught one ball for four yards on four targets against Buffalo.
Further hurting their fantasy possibilities is the fact that no one here has seen more than five targets in any of Denver’s last four games. The Chargers have allowed the sixth-fewest DraftKings points to wideouts this year.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Patrick has the greatest case to be a fantasy starter just because the Broncos scheme to get him involved near the goal line. But his floor is awfully low if he doesn’t score. He, Jeudy and Hamler are not recommended options in Week 16. They cost $4,200, $3,700 and $3,200, respectively, on DraftKings.
