After a couple of subpar fantasy showings, Deshaun Watson got back on track in Week 15. What should we expect from him against the Bengals this Sunday?
Fantasy Football analysis: Texans QB Deshaun Watson
Watson threw for a season-high 373 yards as well as a couple of touchdowns in last week’s loss to the Colts. He ran for 25 yards, too. It was a somewhat relieving performance given how rough of a go Watson had in his previous two games when he accounted for a total of two touchdowns. It’s definitely not his fault; he’s playing with a largely blasé receiving corps and a poor offensive line. This week’s matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals is so-so on paper, but Watson has succeeded in tougher draws, like when he was the QB1 in Week 11 versus the Patriots.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
The Bengals have allowed just five passing touchdowns across their last five games, but again, it’s Watson. Huge numbers are always on the table. You know you are most likely starting him in season-long formats. He’s probably not the best cash-game choice with his $7,600 price tag. But that price, the fourth-highest on the entire Week 16 slate, could keep his ownership low and make him worth trying in GPPs.
