In Week 15, Dalton Schultz actually did something of note Huzzah! What will he do this Sunday versus the Philadelphia Eagles
Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz
Schultz found his way into the end zone against the 49ers last week. It was his first score since Week 11. However, that was one of only two catches (and targets) on the day for Schultz. He has averaged just 28 receiving yards over his last five games, finishing with fewer than 50 yards in all of them. And, in one of the strangest current trends that I don’t think anyone is noticing, Schultz’s target count has fallen by one target for six consecutive games. So, I guess get ready for him to see one target against the Eagles...?
Philadelphia isn’t an impossible matchup for tight ends. The Eagles allowed a TE touchdown in Weeks 13 and 14. The Cardinals’ top two tight ends combined for a 4-96-0 line on six targets last week. For the season, the Eagles have given up the 10th-most DraftKings points to tight ends.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Schultz ($3,200) remains a TD-or-bust proposition, which makes him really no different from 7-10 other cheap tight ends who are worth some level of consideration on DraftKings. But Schultz is perhaps a little more unappealing because he probably won’t provide more than 40 yards.
