What to do with Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley in Week 16 of the fantasy football playoffs

Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley look to feast on a Stephon Gilmore-less Patriots defense.

For most leagues, the fantasy championship week will conclude with Monday night’s tilt between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots. While the latter lacks much in the way of firepower this season, the Bills have several players who will decide league winners.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills WRs Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley

Stefon Diggs has played well throughout 2020. He has already set career highs in receptions (111, most in the league through 15 weeks) and receiving yards (1,314). But Diggs’ best stretch has come over the past three weeks. The veteran wideout has reached double-digit receptions in each of those outings and compiled 369 receiving yards over the period. Diggs now finds a Patriots defense that will play without reigning Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore, giving him a chance for another stellar performance.

But the Bills have another wide receiver who should dominate his matchup on Monday: Cole Beasley. His numbers over the past three games rival those of Diggs, with Beasley recording 22 catches for 283 yards and a score. While Beasley might not have seen much of Gilmore anyway, the cornerback’s absence will affect the wideout’s outlook this week as well.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Diggs as a high-end WR1.

Start Beasley as a low-end WR2.
