The Tennessee Titans have a ton of playmakers at the offensive skill positions on their roster, so it can limit what they do at the tight end position, but Jonnu Smith has developed relevancy from a fantasy perspective. If you’re looking see what to do with him, let’s take a closer look at what you might expect on Sunday Night Football.
Fantasy Football analysis: Titans TE Jonnu Smith
In his last game, Smith had a productive outing, though it would’ve been nice for one of Tennessee’s many touchdowns to go his way in a 46-25 win over the Detroit Lions. Smith caught all five of the targets that went his way for 52 receiving yards, which were the most he’s had since Week 3 of the season.
On Sunday, Smith and the Titans will take on the Green Bay Packers, which are ninth against the pass in terms of passing yards per game allowed. Green Bay saw the Carolina Panthers in its last time out, and Ian Thomas was the leading pass catcher among tight ends with three catches for 29 yards.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Smith is a mid-tier tight end No. 2 at best for fantasy purposes this weekend.
