What to do with Ito Smith, Todd Gurley, Brian Hill in Week 16 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Ito Smith, Todd Gurley, and Brian Hill ahead of the Falcons Week 16 matchup against the Chiefs.

The Atlanta Falcons haven’t completely abandoned the running game, but they’ve come about as close as you can get to doing so. Last week, the team jumped out to a healthy lead over the Bucs in the first half, and they mostly did that without running the ball. This week, the Falcons are playing the Chiefs, which is going to take even more steam out of the running game.

Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons RBs Ito Smith, Todd Gurley, Brian Hill

Ito Smith was the team’s leading rusher last week with a grand total of six carries for 24 yards. Gurley had one carry, losing a yard on it, and Hill had one carry for three yards. Smith’s been leading the group in work out of the backfield, but that’s yet to account for more than 42 rushing yards in his last three outings.

The Falcons are going to be chasing points in this one. That means their running game is going to be on ice in the second half, if not sooner. You should avoid all three of these players in your fantasy football league championship this week.
