Jalen Hurts will get a huge weapon back when he and the Philadelphia Eagles travel to face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson, sidelined since breaking his ankle in Week 7, will be activated for Sunday’s game, per Tom Pelissero.
At the time of his injury, Jackson had 13 receptions for 155 yards. He re-joins a unit that has seen rookie first round pick Jalen Reagor start to emerge. Greg Ward leads the team with 50 receptions for 386 yards and six touchdowns while Reagor has 27 receptions for 351 yards and a touchdown.
Hurts is coming off a 338-yard, three touchdown performance in which he also rushed for 63 yards and a score. It’s a roll of the dice to send out Jackson in your fantasy lineups, but a basic ankle fracture would seem a bit easier to bounce back once the bone is healed than a hamstring or ligament injury. Given how productive Hurts has been, there’s some upside if you face a tough championship matchup in Week 16.
