What to do with Tua Tagovailoa in Week 16 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Tua Tagovailoa ahead of the Dolphins Week 16 matchup against the Raiders.

The Miami Dolphins will take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday this week. It’s a decent matchup for quarterback Tua Tagovaioa, but if you’re planning to use him in your fantasy football lineup for your league’s championship week game, there are some factors to consider ahead of this one.

Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa

Last week against the Patriots, Tagovailoa didn’t do much in the passing game. He didn’t really need to, and the team was without its top two pass catches, wide receiver DeVante Parker and tight end Mike Gesicki. The Dolphins signal caller finished the game with 145 passing yards and an interception. He picked up his fantasy points on the ground, scoring twice on three carries.

There’s a good chance Gesicki and Parker will be back this week; both players were practicing on Tuesday, with the limited designation. The Raiders have given up at least two touchdown passes in each of their last five games. Las Vegas has surrendered five rushing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks.

The Dolphins run an extremely conservative offense, so Tagovailoa’s fantasy upside is going to be limited regardless of the matchup. However, he’s a decent QB2 option this week.
