The New York Knicks could already be dealing with a serious injury. Rookie point guard Immanuel Quickly appeared to suffer a non-contact hip injury in the second quarter of his team’s Wednesday matchup against the Indiana Pacers. He won’t return to the game.
Immanuel Quickley ends that play holding his lower back/hip area. Not sure what happened there but looked like he hurt it without contact. The Knicks rookie was grimacing during the play and is getting worked on by a Knicks trainer. pic.twitter.com/A3mgP1qRIN

Quickley was a spark plug off the bench while he was playing and provided five points, an assist, and a rebound in 12 minutes. He was able to get an opportunity to be a rotation player because of injuries to Dennis Smith Jr. and Austin Rivers.
