Friday update: Hill was limited for Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
Thursday update: Hill returned on Thursday with a limited practice.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out of practice on Wednesday, per the Kansas City Star’s Sean McDowell. Hill tweaked his hamstring against the Saints last week, but appeared to be okay as he played the full game.
This missed practice is likely precautionary, but still worth keeping an eye on to see if it tightened up on him after the game. If he can’t go, Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman would get an increase in work, while Travis Kelce would be a target hog.
The Chiefs have the AFC’s No. 1 seed at the moment and that means a bye week to start the playoffs. That is too good to not protect, so the Chiefs will do their best to win this week, locking up the bye. That doesn’t mean they would push Hill to play, as they are still likely to get the bye even if they lost this game.
