Phoenix Suns PG Chris Paul says he’s ready to go and feels good heading into the season opener vs. the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. Paul has been dealing with an ankle injury but basically told reporters this afternoon that he’s ready to play. Paul will make his debut for the Suns after being acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder over the offseason. CP3 is expected to form a Big 3 with Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton in Phoenix.
CP3 is ready for his Suns debut and this doesn’t really move any needles much. I think Paul is an OK DFS play at $7,000, mostly in tournaments with so many options on a 13-game slate. He could go overlooked and the Mavs-Suns game gives us a great environment for fantasy.
Paul’s assist prop is set at 6.5. There isn’t much juice on the number but if he’s going to play around 30 minutes, this number feels safe. Perhaps pairing this with another line in some type of parlay wouldn’t be a bad idea. Paul’s rebound prop is at 5.5 at +102, which seems like an OK bet given his rebounding prowess.
