James Robinson sits out practice all week, listed as questionable for Week 16

Jaguars RB James Robinson injured his ankle last Sunday. We break down what it means for Week 16 fantasy football.

Friday update: Robinson did not get in a practice this week and will be listed as questionable on the final Week 16 injury report.

Thursday update: Robinson was a DNP for a second straight day.

Wednesday update: Robinson was a DNP at practice on Wednesday, as expected.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are uncertain of James Robinson’s status for Week 16 due to an ankle injury, but the hope is that some rest this week will help him remain available for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. Head coach Doug Marrone told the media the plan is to exercise caution in practice, but he seemed to think Robinson had a chance to play this weekend, according to John Shipley.

Robinson suffered an ankle injury on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens and did not return to the game. He injured it with 9:46 left in the fourth quarter and backup Dare Ogunbowale came on in his place. Ogunbowale finished the game with two carries for 17 yards and an eight yard reception.

The Bears defense ranks ninth in fantasy points allowed to running backs. Robinson would have been worth a start in most formats, but if Ogunbowale starts, he is only worth starting in deeper leagues.
