Is there anything more beautiful than afternoon bowl games during the week? We’ve got our second consecutive day of these when the Nevada Wolf Pack and Tulane Green Wave get after it in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 22 at 3:30 p.m. ET. This game will take place in Boise, Idaho and can be seen on ESPN and streamed on the WatchESPN app.

How they got here
Both teams finished the regular season with six victories, but Tulane has played three more games than Nevada during the year. The Green Wave finished with a 6-5 record overall including 3-5 in AAC play, which ranked tied for eighth in the conference. Tulane started slow but picked up steam toward the end, winning four of its final five games with the only loss coming to a ranked Tulsa team. As for Nevada, it checks in with a 6-2 overall record in an eight-game Mountain West schedule for third place in the conference. The Wolf Pack won their first five games but dropped two of their last three heading into the postseason.
