UPDATE: Akers had his ankle taped and is returning to the game. We’ll see how effective he is with the injury.
Los Angeles Rams rookie running back Cam Akers is heading to the locker room with what looks like an ankle injury. Akers has been playing well of late and won the lead running back role over the last month. We’ll keep an eye on his progress.
