The College Football Playoff Selection Committee will be under the spotlight yet again this week, as it’s Week 3 of the announcements of where things stand on ESPN. This will happen next Tuesday as well, with the announcement of the final four and all teams in the New Year’s Six coming December 20th.
We likely know the top two teams will be Alabama and Clemson, and that the committee will likely take two of three from Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M. But will they penalize Ohio State for only playing six games? Will they tax Notre Dame for being blown out in the ACC Championship Game by Clemson? That’s what we’ll find out on Sunday.
ESPN will be pulling out all the bells and whistles for their coverage of all bowl game bids starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Here’s a list of all their coverage forthcoming across all their networks on Saturday, December 20th:

8:30 p.m. Championship Drive: Who’s In Presented by Capital One: ESPN
When ESPN owns something, they market it to the max. You’ll have plenty of room to maneuver if you want to watch which teams are going to which bowls all day tomorrow.

The College Football Playoff Selection Show kicks off at 12 p.m. E.T. / 9 a.m. P.T. on Sunday, December 20th on ESPN. Streaming is also available on WatchESPN and the ESPN app with an login from a cable or OTT provider.
It’s expected the College Football Playoff semifinalists (Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl) will be announced around 12:15 p.m. After that, the rest of the New Year’s Six (Fiesta Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Peach Bowl, Orange Bowl) will be filled in about 2:30 p.m.
