Here’s a rundown of the injury report for Sunday’s games. Let’s take a quick spin through what it means.
Matthew Stafford has made a speedy recovery this week. At point it looked like he would have to sit out Detroit’s game against the Titans, but on Saturday it was reported that he’s preparing to play this week. Daniel Jones is probably sitting this one out, but you surely weren’t going to use the Giants quarterback this week anyway.
Damien Harris has his status downgraded to out this week. The Patriots will likely lean on Sony Michel this week in his absence, but James White, listed as questionable, could get an increased workload.
Among the receivers, James Crowder and DeVante Parker are both expected to play, despite their questionable designations. No Julio Jones means more work for Calvin Ridley. And without Deebo Samuel, 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk could really clean up against a terrible Cowboys secondary. Michael Thomas’ absence probably benefits Alvin Kamara and Emmanuel Sanders most.
