It’s been a bad year for tight ends in fantasy football, but at there’s Travis Kelce to set himself apart from the rest of his position group. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was on fire last week, leading the team with 10 targets, eight catches, and 126 yards in a win over the Dolphins. He’s a must-start option again this week when they Chiefs play the Saints.
Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs TE Travis Kelce
Kelce’s performance last week gives him five games with more than 100 yards in his last six outings. He’s also got three touchdowns in his last four games. It pays to be Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target in the passing game.
The Saints defense hasn’t allowed an opposing tight end to score since, and only one plays has more than 50 yards during that stretch too. But Kelce is a different beast, so don’t let the stats scare you away.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Travis Kelce.
