What to do with Dalton Schultz in Week 15 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Dalton Schultz ahead of the Cowboys Week 15 matchup against the 49ers.

Dallas Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz has fallen short of 50 yards in each of his last five games and has scored just once since Week 5. Is there any hope that he will produce something of note against the San Francisco 49ers?

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz

To answer my own question in the intro, probably not. Schultz’s worthwhile early-season outputs with Dak Prescott are barely a memory at this point. He finished a couple of games then with at least 70 yards; he hasn’t hit 60 since. And strangely enough, Schultz’s target count has steadily, consistently declined one target per game for the past five games. He got eight looks in Week 8 and bottomed out with three targets last week. The 49ers have been incredibly restrictive on tight ends in 2020. They have allowed the fewest yards (399) and are tied for the fewest receptions allowed (44).

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Schultz costs $3,200 on DraftKings. That is ultimately useless info because you really shouldn’t be using him in any format.
