The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took care of business against the Minnesota Vikings, knocking the latter just outside of the playoff picture. The Vikings look to right the ship in a NFC North battle against the Bears in Week 15. Can Kirk Cousins carry his team to victory and provide fantasy value at the same time?
Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings QB Kirk Cousins
Despite attempting 37 passes, his fourth-most of the season, Cousins had his fifth-worst fantasy performance (18.1 DKFP) in last week’s loss to the Bucs. Recently, Minnesota has been one of the most run-heavy offenses in the league, which obviously doesn’t bode well for Cousins fantasy managers. The second leg of divisional matchups tends to be lower scoring, although it will be harder to score less than the first meeting between these two teams (32 combined points in Week 10). The Bears have allowed the seventh-fewest DKFP to opposing quarterbacks this season. With all of that in mind, I find myself having a tough time advocating for Kirk.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Cousins as a QB2.
