Philadelphia Eagles second-year running back Miles Sanders had one of his best games this season last week against the New Orleans Saints. Can he do it again versus the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday? Let’s discuss it and whether you should confidently leave him in your lineup.
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles RB Miles Sanders
This season has been a mixed bag of results for Miles Sanders. The former Penn State running back was expected to be a breakout candidate in fantasy football, but that hasn’t happened because of injuries and lack of carries.
However, last week against the Saints, Sanders produced 115 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns. He also had four receptions (five targets) for 21 yards. It was only the second time this season that Sanders reached the century mark. As a team, the Eagles had over 200 rushing yards versus one of the best league’s run defenses thanks to Jalen Hurts’ contribution.
This week, Sanders will be going up against a Cardinals’ defense that is allowing 119.5 rushing yards per game this season. But they haven’t let an opposing running back to run for 100 yards yet. In regards to fantasy football, the Cardinals are giving up 17.5 fantasy points a game, and six rushing touchdowns in their last four games.
