Kyler Murray’s fantasy value has suffered a bit lately, along with the rest of the Arizona Cardinals offense. Last week, he threw just one touchdown and 244 yards against the New York Giants. This week, Arizona’s quarterback has a slightly easier draw against another NFC East opponent, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray
Murray’s only had multiple scores in two of his last four games. He hasn’t scored a rushing touchdown at all during that stretch either, not since running into the end zone twice back in Week 10.
The Eagles let Taysom Hill throw for two touchdowns last week in their upset win over the Saints. The week before that, they let Aaron Rodgers throw three. But in the four games prior to that one, Philadelphia’s defense allowed just one touchdown to an opposing quarterback, when Russell Wilson and the Seahawks barely squeaked by them.
This isn’t a sure-thing kind of matchup for Murray. However, he’s reportedly healthier than he has been in a few games now, and projects as a decent QB2 option this week with upside.
