Friday update: Golladay missed practice yet again with his hip injury, per Justin Rogers. Now we just wait for the official “out” designation. It does look like they’ll get Danny Amendola back in the fold this week. Marvin Hall and Mohammed Sanu should still be involved with Golladay out, but don’t have much fantasy upside.
Thursday update: Golladay wasn’t at practice on Thursday, per Kyle Meinke. There is little hope for him playing this week, so we will again see Marvin Hall get a boost in snaps.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay won’t practice to start out Week 13, per the Athletic’s Chris Burke. Golladay has missed the last four games with a hip injury and appears on track to miss his fifth game, as the Lions head to Chicago to face the Bears.
With the Lions at 4-7 and their head coach Matt Patricia just fired, offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will take over to finish the season. There isn’t much reason to push Golladay to come back unless he is undoubtedly 100 percent.
That should leave Marvin Jones and T.J. Hockenson as the top targets once again, but we are also awaiting word on Danny Amendola, who has missed the last couple games. The Bears defense has been good this season, but they can be beaten, especially by tight ends. It appears that Hockenson could be the best fantasy play from Detroit once again this week.
