Wide receiver PPR rankings for Week 13 fantasy football

We take you through some of the best PPR wide receivers going in Week 13 for fantasy football, including a few viable streamers.

Final injury report

Kenny Golladay is out after not practicing this week.

Julio Jones is questionable, but did say he felt good at practice on Friday.

Allen Robinson tweaked his knee at Friday’s practice, but the injury doesn’t appear to be significant. Hopefully we’ll get an update before lineups lock.

Larry Fitzgerald hasn’t been activated from the Covid-19 list but could be on Saturday.

D.J. Chark, Michael Thomas, Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard, Nelson Agholor, Adam Humphries, A.J. Brown and Calvin Ridley were removed from the injury report for Week 13.

Out: Kenny Golladay (hip), Marquez Callaway (knee)
Doubtful: N/A
Questionable: Allen Robinson (knee), Darnell Mooney (knee), Julio Jones (hamstring), Terry McLaurin (ankle), Jerry Jeudy (ankle), Chris Conley (hip), Deonte Harris (neck)

Thursday injury report

Deebo Samuel didn’t practice Thursday, but it appears to be a maintenance day. As long as he practices Friday he should be good to go.

Nelson Agholor missed his second practice in a row. If he can’t go, Henry Ruggs, Hunter Renfrow and Bryan Edwards get boosts.

Kenny Golladay missed practice again and looks like a long shot to play on Sunday.

Julio Jones doesn’t practice on Thursday. If he can’t go against the Saints, Calvin Ridley would be the main target for Matt Ryan.

DNP: Kenny Golladay (hip), Nelson Agholor (ankle), Marquez Callaway (knee), Deonte Harris (neck), Julio Jones (hamstring)
Limited: Mike Thomas (hamstring), D.J. Chark (ribs), Chris Conley (hip), Breshad Perriman (shoulder), Michael Thomas (ankle), Sterling Shepard (toe, shoulder), Darius Slayton (shoulder, foot), Allen Lazard (core), Equanimeous St. Brown (knee)
Full: Jarvis Landry (hip), A.J. Brown (hip), Adam Humphries (concussion), Danny Amendola (hip), Zach Pascal (knee)

Wednesday injury report

D.J. Chark and Chris Conley missed last week, but were able to get in a limited practice on Wednesday.

Julio Jones got a limited practice in, but will likely come down to a game time decision this week.

Brandon Aiyuk and Adam Thielen will play this week after being taken off the Covid-19 list.

Kenny Golladay didn’t practice yet again. He looks like he will again have trouble playing this week.

Nelson Agholor missed practice with an ankle injury on Wednesday.

Danny Amendola returned to a limited practice for the first time in two weeks, giving him a shot at playing against the Bears this week.

Adam Humphries practiced fully on Wednesday. We don’t know if he’s been cleared of his concussion, but this is a good sign.

Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard were both limited. Slayton appears to be dealing with a more impactful injury, but we’ll see how the practice week plays out.

DNP: Auden Tate (shoulder), Malcolm Perry (chest), Kenny Golladay (hip), Marquez Callaway (knee), Deonte Harris (neck)
Limited: Mike Thomas (hamstring), Jerry Jeudy (ankle), Danny Amendola (hip), Zach Pascal (knee), D.J. Chark (ribs), Chris Conley (hip), Breshad Perriman (shoulder), Michael Thomas (ankle), Calvin Ridley (foot, ankle), Julio Jones (hamstring), Sterling Shepard (toe, shoulder), Darius Slayton (shoulder, foot), Allen Lazard (core)
Full: Adam Humphries (concussion)

Week 12 was a strong one for wide receivers, but the best start by far was Tyreek Hill. Hill had already topped 200 receiving yards by the first quarter against the Buccaneers and then went on to catch 13 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns.

The number two PPR receiver of the week was Will Fuller, who caught six passes for 171 yards and to touchdowns on Thanksgiving and then was suspended for six games for a PED violation. That is a real kick in the gut as we start to move into the fantasy playoffs.

We also saw the return of Jarvis Landry, who’s had injury and weather problems over the last month since Odell Beckham Jr.’s season ended. Last week he caught his first touchdown and put up eight receptions for 143 yards. I’ve been waiting for this breakout and expect more to come from Landry to finish the season.

Injury news

Brandon Aiyuk should come off the Covid-19 list this week. The 49ers will still be without Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle.

Adam Thielen is expected to come off the Covid-19 list for Week 13.

Will Fuller is done for the season due to suspension. Brandin Cooks becomes a strong play, while Keke Coutee has some fantasy relevance now.

Julian Edelman is on I.R. and the Covid-19 list. He should be close to returning, but not this week.

Bye weeks

The Bucs and Panthers are on a bye in Week 13.

Streaming options

Henry Ruggs, Raiders

Ruggs hasn’t done much this year, but he’s shown enough for me to like him as a high-upside boom or bust play against the Jets. The Raiders were blown oout by a weak Falcons team last week, but are still in the playoff race and get the winless Jets this week. The Jets pass defense is Top 3 awful and they have little pass rush to knock Derek Carr into three fumbles and five sacks.

Michael Pittman, Colts

Pittman didn’t live up to his Week 11 start last week, but he was heavily targeted and has proven that he’s the Colts best receiver at the moment. They will now take on a Texans team that just lost a starting cornerback to a suspension and were already weak. This is a perfect opportunity for Pittman to bounceback in a big way.
