The Minnesota Vikings activated Pro Bowl wide receiver Adam Thielen off of the COVID-19 list in Week 13, according Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. Thielen will also return to practice on Wednesday after missing last Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Last week, Thielen tested positive and then negative for the coronavirus.
If Thielen is cleared to return that will help out of the Vikings’ offense a ton as they prepare to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13. This season, the veteran wide receiver has 49 receptions for 646 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Without Thielen’s services last week, Vikings veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins leaned on four receivers led by rookie Justin Jefferson, who all recorded at least seven receptions. Jefferson had seven receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns, while Olabisi Johnson had a team-leading 74 receiving yards. Lastly, tight end Kyle Rudolph had 68 receiving yards and Chad Beebe had 63 receptions and a score.
