The Louisville Cardinals will be without their leading scorer and rebounder Carlik Jones for today’s top-25 matchup against the Wisconsin Badgers. This was first reported by Stadium college basketball analyst Jeff Goodman.

No reason has been given at this point, but this has already had an effect on the point spread. The Cardinals were at +4 heading into this game and are now listed at +7.5 according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
Jones is a senior guard averaging 17 points, seven rebounds and 5.3 assists per game so far through four games. In his last time out against the Evansville Purple Aces, he scored 18 points with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Louisville comes into this game with a 4-0 record and ranked No. 23 in the country, while Wisconsin is 5-1 and ranked 12th in all of college basketball.
