It’s that time of year again, and that means Saturday football! Week 15 brings us the Denver Broncos against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills will look to win their first AFC East division title in 25 years and a win today would do just that.
The bulk of the fantasy points will likely go to Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Drew Lock, Cole Beasley, Melvin Gordon and Tim Patrick. The question is, who are those one or two players further down the radar that will become critical in this game and help you roster more studs and differentiate from the competition in the DraftKings Showdown?
Gabriel Davis, WR, $6,200
With John Brown out again this week, Davis will continue to see work as as starting outside receiver. And that has worked well for him and the team the last three games, as he’s found the end zone in each game, along with 68 or more yards in two of those matchups. His price doesn’t quite reflect his recent production.
Jerry Jeudy, WR, $5,800
Tim Patrick is a little bit expensive for a value pick, as he’s been finding the end zone consistently of late, but Jeudy remains the number one receiver despite a dip in production of late. He doesn’t get the greatest matchup, but I like drafting skilled players at value prices no matter the matchup.
Noah Fant, WR, $5,800
Fant had food poisoning lat week and missed the game after starting. That may have turned off some drafters, but I’m on board at this price. Fant has dealt with injuries all season, but his upside remains high. Last week after Fant left, Lock targeted his tight ends 11 times.
Zack Moss, RB, $6,800
The Broncos defense has multiple injuries and over their last six games, they’ve allowed the third-most DraftKings points to running backs. Moss has taken over the lead role, as he saw 59 percent of the snaps to 40 percent for Devin Singletary last week. He also had 13 touches to Singletary’s eight. It isn’t a huge difference, and Singletary has some receiving upside. But, the Bills are favored by 5.5-points and I like their chances to have a lead in the fourth quarter giving Moss more work.
