Best value lineup strategy for Packers vs. Panthers Saturday Showdown

We go over some ideal value picks for Saturday’s Panthers-Packers matchup for Week 15

It’s that time of year again, and that means Saturday football! Week 15 brings us a good fantasy football contest, as the Carolina Panthers take on the Green Bay Packers.

The bulk of the fantasy points will likely go to Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Aaron Jones, Teddy Bridgewater, Mike Davis, Robby Anderson, DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel. The question is, who are those one or two players further down the radar that will become critical in this game and help you roster more studs in the DraftKings Showdown?

Robert Tonyan, TE, $6,400

Tonyan hasn’t seen a ton of targets, but he’s made his targets count with four touchdowns over the last four games. And he’s had extremely consistent usage with five targets in each of the four games. He’s amazingly caught all but one of those targets as well. He’ll likely need a touchdown to be a strong play, but the matchup is strong.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, $5,400

Valdes-Scantling is inconsistent, but when he connects with Aaron Rodgers, it’s usually on a big play. Over his last five games, he has four touchdowns. He’s also seen six targets in three of his last four games, giving him enough work with a red-hot Rodgers to be worth a start this week.

Allen Lazard, WR, $5,000

Lazard hasn’t seen great usage since returning from injury, but he does have a touchdown since returning and should start to see more work at some point, as he was playing well before missing time with a core injury. He’s risky, but the upside is there at his price.

Jamaal Williams, RB, $3,200

Williams continues to see a decent workload behind Aaron Jones and is always a threat for double-digit DK points due to a good balance of rushing and receiving numbers. His price is low enough and his floor is high enough to throw him in your lineup if he fits.
