What to do with Mike Davis in Week 15 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Mike Davis ahead of the Panthers Week 15 matchup against the Packers.

Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule continues to hold out hope that the team will have Christian McCaffrey back on the field this season, but it probably won’t be this week. (Which begs the question, why bother bringing him back at all with two games left after this one?) That means the Panthers will be leaning on Mike Davis against the Packers this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers RB Mike Davis

Davis had a great outing last week against the Broncos. Carrying the ball 11 times, he rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns. He also got six looks in the passing game, catching five balls for another 42 yards.

Even though Green Bay is favored by more than a touchdown in this one, Davis is still a solid play. That was his second game in a row with six targets, so he’s got a role in passing game even if the score gets out of control. The Packers run defense gave up two rushing scores to Detroit’s running backs last week, and in Week 12, David Montgomery of the Bears had almost 150 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Mike Davis is a solid RB2 this week. Start him.
