UPDATE: Curtis Samuel is active in spite of a late week hamstring injury. There’s the chance of an aggravation, but he’s active, so he should get some opportunities.
The Carolina Panthers’ three-headed monster receiving corps wasn’t at full strength against the Denver Broncos in Week 14. A Covid-19 outbreak prevented D.J. Moore from joining Robby Anderson and Curtis Samuel out wide. All three wideouts should be available for Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers and could be viable fantasy football options.
Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers WRs D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel
It’s not surprising that Anderson led the Panthers with eight receptions for 84 yards on Sunday. He was able to jump past Moore in receiving yards with that performance and has stood out as Teddy Bridgewater’s favorite target all year. His lack of scoring prowess has limited his ceiling this season though, as he only has one touchdown on the year. Samuel assumed WR2 status for Week 14 and hauled in seven passes for 68 yards and two carries for 22 yards. His snap count will drop with Moore’s return but he’s retained high-upside as a third-down target and top-notch gadget player in recent weeks.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Be wary of Moore in his first week back from the Covid-19 list. He’s also been dealing with an injury that could limit his upside. Anderson is the best starting option for WR but Samuel is worth a flex play.
