What to do with Melvin Gordon, Phillip Lindsay in Week 15 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Melvin Gordon, Phillip Lindsay ahead of the Broncos Week 15 matchup against the Panthers.

Neither of the Denver Broncos’ main running backs has carried a heavy workload in recent weeks and either could have breakout games against the Buffalo Bills in Week 16. Melvin Gordon appears to be the bigger threat out of the backfield but Phillip Lindsay will also be a factor.

Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos RBs Melvin Gordon, Phillip Lindsay

Gordon has paced the Broncos in carries for three straight weeks but played fewer snaps than Lindsay on Sunday. Gordon leads Denver in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns by a wide margin and has proven to have a higher ceiling than Lindsay but is dealing with a shoulder injury and was held out of practice on Tuesday because of a shoulder injury. Lindsay was a limited participant as well because of a hip injury and could assume a larger role if Gordon continues to be affected by shoulder pain. Lindsay hasn't eclipsed 30 receiving yards in three weeks though and would likely need Gordon to set to put up a strong stat line.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Gordon if he’s a full participant in practice before the weekend. Sit Lindsay unless Gordon is ruled out.
