Friday update: The Jets are listing Jamison Crowder as questionable due to his calf injury and he will be limited in practice on Friday, per Brian Costello.
Thursday update: Crowder did in fact return for Thursday’s practice and will be listed as limited for the day, per Rich Cimini.
The New York Jets are back at practice on Wednesday, and they are taking a conservative approach with wide receiver Jamison Crowder. He is dealing with injuries in both calves and will not practice on Wednesday, according to Ralph Vacchiano. However, head coach Adam Gase thinks he should be back for practice on Thursday.
Crowder injured at least one of his calves last Thursday. He was limited on Thursday and a DNP on Friday before being listed as questionable on the final Week 14 injury report. He ended up playing the second most snaps among the team’s wide receivers, although it was still 15 fewer than Breshad Perriman. He caught two of five targets for seven yards. Crowder has played in 9 of the team’s 13 games this season and leads the team with 42 receptions for for 510 yards and five touchdowns.
The Jets travel to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15. The Rams defense has given up the fewest amount of fantasy points to the wide receiver position this season.
