Wednesday update: Austin Ekeler got in another limited practice on Wednesday and is listed as questionable to play. The two limited practices are a good sign, but not good enough to consider him a lock to play. Keep your eye on the inactives before setting your fantasy lineups.

Tuesday update: The Chargers had a second straight day of walkthrough practice as they prepare for Thursday Night Football, and Austin Ekeler was upgraded from DNP to limited. The team did not actually practice, but the estimate suggests he is making progress toward playing on Thursday.

Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler had a solid game in his team’s Week 14 win over the Atlanta Falcons and is taking things easy ahead of Week 15. He appeared on Monday’s injury report with a quad injury and did not practice. He’s just one of many players who did not practice on Monday but is likely just getting rest ahead of Thursday’s matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Ekeler has taken part in at least 60 percent of the Chargers’ snaps for three straight games and has continued to be a focal point of the offense since coming off the IR in Week 12. He rushed for 79 yards on 15 carries in his last outing while also hauling in nine of his nine targets for 67 yards. He has a good chance to perform at a high level against a Raiders defense that’s given up 100+ yards to the opposition’s RB1 in two straight games.
