Cleveland Browns tight end Austin Hooper is not expected to play against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Hooper missed Friday’s practice with a neck injury.

Fantasy impact: Austin Hooper (neck)

Hooper hasn’t been seeing many targets since returning from his appendectomy, so there is a good chance you weren’t going to start him in a tough matchup with the Ravens as it is. Now the question is, will David Njoku or Harrison Bryant see enough of a boost in work to facilitate a useful fantasy play?

The answer is maybe, but with the two tight ends splitting time fairly evenly between each other, it is difficult to predict which would get the biggest boost. The last time Hooper was out Bryant had eight targets in two games while Njoku had six. Unless you are in a 20 team league, it’s best to fade Cleveland tight ends this week.
