Game status: Brandin Cooks is INACTIVE and Keke Coutee is ACTIVE for Week 14.
Game day update: Brandin Cooks and Keke Coutee are both expected to play in Week 14, per Adam Schefter. UPDATE: Ian Rapoport is now reporting Cooks is NOT expected to play on Sunday.
The Houston Texans enter this week’s game against the Chicago Bears with both of their top two wide receivers listed on the injury report. With Will Fuller serving a suspension, both Brandin Cooks and Keke Coutee are picking up the slack in that offense. Both players are officially questionable this week.
Fantasy impact: Brandin Cooks (foot/neck), Keke Coutee (knee)
Cooks is a little more questionable than Coutee. He is listed with a foot and neck injury, but was able to get in limited work at practice all week, so it looks like he should be able to play. Coutee is dealing with a knee injury, but he was a full participant at practice on Thursday and Friday this week.
Coutee had a slight edge over Cooks last week without Fuller. Targeted nine times, he caught eight passes for 141 yards. Cooks saw eight targets, catching five for 65 yards. Despite last week’s numbers, Cooks probably has a slight edge in fantasy value over Coutee, but both are solid starters in fantasy lineups this week.
